Oklahoma native Guilt Chip hacks the attention of unsuspecting bass devotees with uncompromising experimental design. Known for his unparalleled texture and distorted edge, Guilt Chip pushes modern production to its outer limits with his diversified blend of contrasting sounds and signature grit. Rich in atmosphere, the Guilt Chip brand offers an element of suspense as each record poses a fresh and unexpected auditory experience, allowing every track to tell its own story.

Teaming up with Michael York, known professionally as SUAHN, is an American bass music producer. Blending elements of acid, techno, and bass driven music, he is described as “...wildly innovative…” (Dancing Astronaut) creating a style of music that cannot easily be defined.

SUAHN began his career as a musician while founding and playing guitar in the post-hardcore outfit Pianos Become The Teeth (Epitaph Records). No stranger to touring, he has spent the better part of the last decade traveling and playing everywhere from punk warehouse shows in Berlin to amphitheatres in Sydney and in the fall months of 2019, he completed his first tour under the SUAHN name with Dubloadz in support of his House of Ghosts EP.

2020 has already seen several releases including the MONDAZE single, ‘I Think I’m Lost!’ and The Gift of Light EP on SATURATE! Records (G Jones, Holly, Mad Zach) that garnered a huge amount of support from the likes of Liquid Stranger, Ivy Lab, Dubloadz, and many more. He has also recently finished his first LP that is unlike anything he has done before, fusing raw techno and pushes to the furthest depths of where bass music can go.

“Absolute Ruin is, to date, my favorite body of work I have been a part of. When Blake and I first met, we were casually passing songs back and forth until we both realized that we had the same taste for music that pushed everything to its absolute edge. When we started collaborating together it was effortless. There were no limits since we both wanted to “go further” or try to push past what a lot would feel uncomfortable doing. When combining Guilt Chips weaponized dialup modem bass music with my paranoid and distorted acid, I like to think we created something that feels like falling into a sinkhole and not knowing when you’re going to hit the bottom.” - SUAHN
