Last December, Shanghai Doom made their WAKAAN debut with Soul Stone, a joint EP with fellow bass producer Esseks. Now, the experimental bass duo is returning for their first solo WAKAAN project and debut album, Dark Waters. Through eight solo productions and one collaboration with leet, this nine-track record plunges into the sonic depths of the deep unknown.

Haunting, dark, and mysterious, Shanghai Doom effortlessly submerges listeners within the dusky subaqueous ecosystem. Exploring territories only daunting aquanauts dare enter, each song will tantalize eardrums through crisp sound designs and experimental, liquid textures.
