Ending 2022 on a soaring high note with his Illusions Pt. 1 EP out on WAKAAN, LUZCID brings forth the same vigorance as he announces the sequel EP slated for release this March 10, Illusions Pt. 2. Progressing the storyline, the follow-up EP matches the overarching tone of the first, beginning with the reintroduction of vocalist Misdom for an eclectic synthesizer-soaked collaboration, “Love Songs.” Indulging further into the collection of work, LUZCID revels in one of his greatest strengths as a producer; blurring the lines between whimsical downtempo and abstract freeform bass in a cohesive, dreamlike manner.

Currently embarked on his nationwide ‘Illusions’ headline tour, LUZCID continues to compose a sonic tapestry in the live setting, gracing audiences with an opulent unification of genres. Joined by visual artist DATA BYTE to create a multisensory audiovisual experience, LUZCID also chose to highlight up and coming producers on this run. Rather than bring along a well-known support act as an addition to the lineup, LUZCID consciously gave local artists the opportunity to enter into the running, sifting through and hand selecting each act personally to elevate and diversify lesser known talent in each city. With more already slated in 2023, the illusion of LUZCID becomes more prevalent by the day.
