Over four months after his incendiary single “X2 feat. Kevin Flum,” TVBOO is back with his fourth WAKAAN release of the year. Right Field Bass is a four track EP laden with distorted sound designs and vocal samples that sonically captivates TVBOO’s infectious personality.

“This Ain’t Dubstep” begins with a minimalistic trap foundation before various dubstep elements continuously assemble on. Squishy textures birth the “Spawn of Satan” as gargling rumbles unleash it upon civilization. Following an anticipatory build up, liquid basslines and arpeggios encourage “Ms. Judy” to drop it on the dance floor. Haunted atmospheres and vocals complement the climax in “Demon Seamen” for a sizzling and piercing finale.

“With this EP, I didn't want to make anything too weird or too heavy. That's not really me. I wanted this EP to have more of a silly/fun vibe to it while also slapping those ear cheeks. I feel like you could dance to these songs in so many different ways and that's what I love about this body of work. Also, everyone is all about that left field bass music, but what happened to the right side? Why'd we leave that side out? Are they weird over there? Do they stink? Will she ever call me back? So I figured I'd be the one to represent that sillier side of bass music and claim the right field for all the goofball producers. Praise Dale."
