On the heels of his highly-praised lead single, “Scuba,” Sully now prepares for the anticipated release of his Submersed EP on his home label of WAKAAN. Clocking in at five tracks in its entirety, the full-length body of work retains its ocean floor-level subterrestrial concept while encompassing a vast scope of different genres. The first track, a collaboration between Sully and longtime friend IORA, features the stirring vocals of topliner Jessy Covets in the quintessential representation of melodic bass, while Misdom’s feature in “Seasons” brings forth a scorching dancefloor hit. Getting a satiating taste of Sully’s signature bass lines throughout “Static,” the surging producer concludes the EP with a larger-than-life Smoakland collaboration, “Shot Callin’.” Keeping listeners enthralled from start to finish, Submersed faultlessly brandishes Sully’s wide-spanning accomplished production approach.
