about
Wakaan is to release a brand new collaboration from LUZCID and Champagne Drip on September 6th. Sounding unbelievable as an electronic/bass soundscape is ‘Double Vision,’ which has a hypnotizing energy.
Both artists have appeared on the label previously, and have some killer releases under their belts as well as a forthcoming tour later this year. The ‘Double Vision’ tour sees Champagne Drip and LUZCID joined by TVBOO and Sully for a mammoth US run of shows – playing 31 dates from September through to December.
Combining their distinctive signatures with riotous aplomb, you are about to get lost in their ‘Double Vision.’ Surging bass kicks, driving melodies and guitar-driven riffs showcase an intense texture throughout, whilst the nod to classic dubstep keeps you coming back for more.
They say: “Double Vision’ is all about duality. The title has two meanings in itself. Vision not only represents what we physically see, it also is the idea or creative plan we work toward manifesting. We wanted to create a piece of music that accurately captured our vision for the tour this fall. We have both been known to combine hypnotic melody with high-energy bass design and an affinity for the old school dubstep anthems. We combined distinct characteristics of our signature styles that are woven together under a common theme. We are super happy with the end result and cannot wait to share it with you!”

I can't stop listening to this album. It's so good. So many different amazing songs. Yheti can turn such small amounts of time into massive complex journeys. Signals from above grew on me over time a great deal and I think that is always a special and mysterious thing. voidhaven
I don't need the members of any community discarded and body othered as a bitch, thanks of the trees for helping me realize there's no point in bass music that I need to hear someone slip the word into my eardrum. cya. BeatsaNdBuds
