about
A household name in psychedelic bass, Liquid Stranger’s celebrated record label WAKAAN is home to some of EDM’s most elite producers. A dubbed-out slice of warped bass, Jantsen and Mersiv team up to unveil their collaborative single “Get Crazy.” The explosive treat is due for release Friday, May 22 va WAKAAN.
Weaving their signature styles into a formidable outline of dubstep, trap, and bass, Jantsen and Mersiv are fearless on “Get Crazy.” Boulder-based powerhouse Jantsen has devised his charismatic signature sound over the past decade, drawing influences from across the musical spectrum to bring life into bass music. His free-flowing sound is a staple in today’s era of electronic music, bridging the gaps between a multitude of genres in dance music and beyond. “Get Crazy” sees Jantsen team up with acclaimed WAKAAN powerhouse Mersiv. The Mersiv Sound Project is the brainchild of Anderson Benoit Gallegos. Producer/DJ Anderson has been developing a unique pretty-dark-loud style of bass music since he started his musical journey in 2015. The intention of this project is to bring people into the present moment through a Mersiv experience. Forging a sound that is robust, thunderous, and sharp-witted, the duo’s synchronicity is palpable on “Get Crazy.” The culmination of two bass geniuses, WAKAAN strikes gold once again with this collaborative gem.

I can't stop listening to this album. It's so good. So many different amazing songs. Yheti can turn such small amounts of time into massive complex journeys. Signals from above grew on me over time a great deal and I think that is always a special and mysterious thing. voidhaven
These five tracks tell a lucid story with tones and textures, AND nearly demand you move your body during each piece.
This EP calls between critical nodes of musical DNA that link together many of my favorite parts of the electronic scene.
Good for a party with that edgy energy, a firespin, or night drive! David Rees
I don't need the members of any community discarded and body othered as a bitch, thanks of the trees for helping me realize there's no point in bass music that I need to hear someone slip the word into my eardrum. cya. BeatsaNdBuds
