Following his championed Blue Collar Bass album, TVBOO returns to WAKAAN; this time, joined by longtime friend, collaborator, and funk-connoisseur SoDown for a jam packed single, “I Gotta Feeling.” The lead single from TVBOO’s forthcoming Honkers EP, a collaborative record with additional artists still to be revealed, the inviting single opens with a soulful vocal hook, immediately trailed by SoDown’s powerful saxophone and a commanding bassline. A collaboration that categorically ‘brings the feeling’ and showcases each artists’ signature sound to the fullest extent, the danceable tune is sure to be one fans hear blasting across mainstages everywhere this festival season.
Both artists progressing in their respective overlapped lanes at an accelerated rate, TVBOO recently celebrates his 2022 sold-out Blue Collar Bass nationwide tour, while SoDown receives high praise for his mutual Worlds Beyond headline tour. TVBOO joining Big Gigantic on their 2023 tour and enlisted at large scale festivals such as Sol Fest, Sunset Music Festival, Sonic Bloom, Sunset Music Festival, Shambhala, Bass Canyon, and WAKAAN Rocks, starting to factor in his stand-up comedian performances along the way, him and SoDown rise together, the sax-bass musician currently slated for Global Dance Festival, Shambhala, Bass Canyon, Hulaween, and wrapping up support for Boogie T’s ‘Outbreak’ tour.
“SoDown is one of the easiest dudes to talk to and hangout with and that translated to us writing this tune. It was fun just to be in the studio with him and you can hear it in the track. Nothing was forced and we were cracking jokes the whole time and just having fun with it. This song is a perfect combination of our sounds and vibe and it ended up being one of my most favorite songs. Best part of it all is I came out of it feeling like I made a good friend.
