about
"I originally started the song after a spurt of funky inspiration, and really wanted to do something on a swingy grid. I came up with the structure and main idea of it pretty quickly and really liked it. I sent it to my friend Blookah cause I know he’s generally in that funky ally and wanted to see what he thought. And that same night I sent it to him, he send back some stems after doing a little jam sesh really adding some significant elements that made it all very cohesive. We both felt the instrumental alone was strong but I had imagined, from the beginning, getting some cool male vocalist, and who better fitting than Leo Napier. We sent him the song, and my goodness he absolutely crushed it. The refrain was almost what I had imagined in my head before sending it to him, and he crushed it. Lyrically and melodically. Overall it turned out to be a pretty unique and funky collaboration with some great inputs from all 3 of us.” - INZO

These five tracks tell a lucid story with tones and textures, AND nearly demand you move your body during each piece.
This EP calls between critical nodes of musical DNA that link together many of my favorite parts of the electronic scene.

I can't stop listening to this album. It's so good. So many different amazing songs. Yheti can turn such small amounts of time into massive complex journeys. Signals from above grew on me over time a great deal and I think that is always a special and mysterious thing. voidhaven
