Mersiv’s take on the tune completely upends what its predecessors went for, instead infusing the track with plenty of bass house. The dubstep sensibilities are still left intact, released ever-so forcibly as the song progresses. Mersiv’s interpretation of ‘Psychonaut’ follows his hit single ‘Talkin Bout’, released at the tail end of this January.

I don't need the members of any community discarded and body othered as a bitch, thanks of the trees for helping me realize there's no point in bass music that I need to hear someone slip the word into my eardrum. cya. BeatsaNdBuds

These five tracks tell a lucid story with tones and textures, AND nearly demand you move your body during each piece.
This EP calls between critical nodes of musical DNA that link together many of my favorite parts of the electronic scene.

I can't stop listening to this album. It's so good. So many different amazing songs. Yheti can turn such small amounts of time into massive complex journeys. Signals from above grew on me over time a great deal and I think that is always a special and mysterious thing. voidhaven
