about
Following her alluring SSKWAN facing ‘Soul Call’ single, Canabliss leans into a more bass forward cadence with follow-up single, ‘Saudade,’ forthcoming on WAKAAN this July 18th. While some exist in the black and white, Canabliss steadily remains in a vibrant color-soaked middle ground; her releases consistently maintaining a whimsical quality to them, yet still incorporating broad freeform basslines. ‘Saudade’ replicates this without flaw, the first half of the song brimming with smooth synthesizers and fluttering vocal chops, transitioning abruptly to a ‘stop you in your tracks’ drop.
After touring with both Liquid Stranger and REZZ throughout 2022, Canabliss left no time to spare heading into 2023, broadcasting her genre-fluid performances at festivals such as Friendship, ULTRA Miami, Lightning in a Bottle, and Sunset Music Festival. Now, as she gears up for her first venue headline at Soundcheck in Washington, DC this July 26th, the remainder of her calendar year quickly fills up as she remains highly sought after, including festivals like Shambhala, Electric Zoo, and more.
Quote: "The word saudade can be translated to a feeling of nostalgia, or a deep yearning for a past experience. My new single ‘Saudade’ encapsulates that sentiment by being heavily influenced by my early musical inspirations, as well as tying in a modern dubstep twist. This song brings you on a musical journey, invoking diverse emotions through its transcendent atmosphere and progressional storyline. ‘Saudade’ is one of my most favourite pieces to date and I hope you can enjoy it too!" - Canabliss

Completely atypical style and genre under the direction of several producers putting their talents and skills offering some different dubstep, bass & hiphop music giving a breathtaking result. Thank you Charlesthefirst & your friends for this awesome & amazing trip. jef37
I don't need the members of any community discarded and body othered as a bitch, thanks of the trees for helping me realize there's no point in bass music that I need to hear someone slip the word into my eardrum. cya. BeatsaNdBuds
